Fish boardsSycamore, 775 Beacon St., NewtonThe menu changes with the seasons, and to owner David Punch, ‘tis the season for fresh fish. The ever-changing “boards”— amalgamations of seafoods du jour — can include such items as roasted local flounder, grilled Spanish octopus, littleneck clams from Wellesley, and local tuna conserva. The boards go for about $68 and can feed two to three, although Punch notes, “People come in alone and hammer down a whole board.”www.sycamorenewton.com.
