The Police Department obtained an arrest warrant on Dec. 10 for a Medford man in connection with the break-in at the Henborg Ice Cream Shop that occurred on July 11. Daniel Lavoie, 25, was charged with breaking and entering a building in the nighttime, and larceny from a building in connection with the incident. Police say evidence collected at the crime scene by Detective Supervisor Tom DeJoy, Detective Jim Rodden, and Officer Keith Deguio connected Lavoie to the break. At the time of the arrest warrant, Lavoie was being held at the Middleton jail on unrelated charges. - David Cogger
