A public information meeting on Conomo Point is scheduled for 7 p.m. Jan. 17 in the Essex Elementary cafeteria. Selectmen plan to review their comprehensive statement on Conomo Point, along with a review of the consolidated calendar - with Department of Environmental Protection milestones - and public access planning. A question-and-answer session will follow. The meeting will be sponsored by the Board of Selectmen, in conjunction with the Finance Committee and the Conomo Point Planning Committee. At Town Meeting this year, an article is expected to determine whether the town will sell lots in the southern portion of Conomo Point. - David Rattigan
