New date for sled dog races

The New England Sled Dog Races, scheduled for this weekend in town, have been postponed until Feb. 4-5 because of lack of snow. The event was moved this year to Appleton Farms, on the Hamilton side of the Hamilton-Ipswich property, because of the larger staging area the property provided, according to committee member Vanessa Stasiuk. For more information on the event, including the Mushers Dinner now slated for Feb. 3, go to www.nesdc.org.
