Three firefighters promoted

Mayor Michael J. McGlynn last week announced the promotions of three firefighters to new positions. Firefighter Todd Evans was promoted to lieutenant. Lieutenant Frank A. Gilberti III, the son of Fire Chief Frank A. Gilberti, was promoted to captain. Captain Francis Fusco was promoted to deputy chief. City Clerk Ed Finn administered the oath to each during a special ceremony. - Kathy McCabe
