N. Andover aiming for long run

Adversity hasn’t dampened drive

North Andover was staring at its first halftime deficit of what has been a sterling start to the season, against a formidable foe, East Boston. Trailing 27-20 last Wednesday night, the Scarlet Knights were determined to change the pace of play. As Eastie’s Kenny Ramos dribbled the ball up the court, listening to the play call from coach Malcolm Smith, Jimmy Warden lunged at the ball, forcing the turnover for a fast-break layup. North Andover turned up the pressure and rallied for an impressive 52-43 win, and a 7-1 start to the season.
