Tech trial for high school

Somerville High School has been selected by Verizon as one of six schools to participate in a technology trial. The selection comes with a $70,000 grant to purchase new equipment, including tablet computers on which teachers and students can receive study material. The service is expected to provide access to interactive lessons, activities, videos, and webinars, in addition to resources and educational games for students. The platform Thinkfinity will be used by science and math teachers to better connect students with subjects. - Matt Byrne
