Voting absentee in primary

Absentee ballots for the March 6 presidential primary are now available in the office of Town Clerk Mary K. Galvin. Any registered voter who cannot make it to the polls on election day due to absence, physical disability, or religious belief is eligible to vote via absentee ballot. The deadline is noon on March 5. Private voting booths are available adjacent to the clerk’s office. Meanwhile, Beebe Library is hosting “Astronomy for Everyone” this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Astrophysicist Kevin Manning, a former consultant with NASA, will talk about the size and shape of the universe, the stars, and other celestial topics, using hands-on activities and assorted visuals. The talk is free and open to all, but preregistration is encouraged. To register, call 781-246-6334, ext. 2.
