Democrats caucus

Local Democrats will be taking part in a caucus on Feb. 18 to elect delegates and alternates to this year’s Massachusetts Democratic State Convention. The caucus, organized by the Woburn Democratic City Committee, will be held at 11 a.m. at the senior center, 144 School St. Anyone age 18 and over from Woburn who was registered as a Democrat as of Dec. 31, 2011, can participate. Three delegates and three alternates will be elected from each of the city’s seven wards. The main business of the convention, set for June 2 at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, will be to endorse a candidate in this year’s race for US Senate.
