Finance committee openings

The town is seeking to fill two openings on the Finance Committee. The vacancies resulted from the recent resignations of George Donovan last summer and Christian McMillan last month. One of the openings will expire this June 30 and the other on June 30, 2014. The slots will be filled through appointments made jointly by the chairman of the Board of Selectmen, the chairman of the Finance Committee, and the town moderator. Anyone interested in being considered for the seats is asked to submit an application to the selectmen’s office by Feb. 29.
