Holiday Inn to open

The old Fairfield Inn may reopen as early as late this summer. The 115-room hotel at Exit 11 off the Everett Turnpike closed last May. The hotel’s new owners, Roedel Companies, will perform about $2 million in renovations over the next several months before reopening the hotel as a 105-room Holiday Inn Express. - Tom Long
