Beach bathrooms await town vote


Voters at Tuesday’s town election will decide whether the new $450,000 bathhouse at North Hampton State Beach gets composting toilets or connects to the town sewer system. The state Executive Council has approved an agreement that would allow the state Division of Parks and Recreation to connect the bathhouse to the Hampton sewer system, but the plan to allow a connection with the neighboring town must be approved by Hampton voters. - Tom Long
