New England Equine Rescue North is holding a flea market and tack sale Saturday at the West Newbury Town Hall annex, 381 Main St. Items include tack and apparel, plus treats and dog coats, For the non-horse set, antiques, clothing, and crafts also will be for sale. All proceeds benefit NEER North, based in West Newbury, a nonprofit that assists horses and horse owners in need. NEER rescues horses from a variety of situations, including owner surrenders, abuse and neglect, and those that are at risk of slaughter.
