Rail plan to ship ethanol is decried

Hearing set for tonight as group seeks support

Environmental activists, residents, and elected officials from Revere, Chelsea and other communities are expected to attend a public hearing tonight in Revere, hoping to get answers from Global Petroleum of Waltham on a proposal to begin using trains to transport ethanol to its bulk storage tank farm on 140 Lee Burbank Highway in Revere.
