Sarah Higgins, Pentucket: In a 53-39 victory over Fairhaven in the Division 2 state semifinals, the senior forward netted 20 points.

George Merry, Danvers: The 6-foot-7 center scored 22 points as the Falcons defeated Wareham, 68-45, in a Division 3 state semifinal.

Morgan O’Brien, Reading: Putting the finishing touch on a magnificent 33-point effort, the junior guard poured in 27 points in the second half and overtime as the Rockets toppled Scituate, 71-64, for their first Division 2 Eastern Mass. title.

Devin Thompson, St. Mary’s of Lynn: The senior guard dropped in 25 points as the Spartans captured their first state title since 2002 with a 70-63 win over Cathedral in Division 4.
