The Planning Board on March 27 will open a public hearing into a proposal by Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home for an expansion project at its property at 167 Maple St. The funeral home is seeking site plan approval for the project, which calls for constructing an addition to its building and demolishing a garage, along with an expansion of its parking lot with related utility and landscaping improvements. Also at the meeting, the board will continue a public hearing on an application by Folly Hill Danvers LLC to modify the subdivision plan for its Hilltop Estates-Folly Hill project on Hilltop Road and Ardmore Drive. The change calls for eliminating retaining walls, with related modifications to the plans regarding grading and topography.
