Windfall parking revenues

The city may raise nearly $400,000 more from parking fees this fiscal year than previously expected. The city had budgeted $3.8 million as parking revenue for fiscal year 2012, but projections presented to the parking and safety committee by the comptroller’s office said that parking fees will exceed that figure by $383,000, or about 10 percent. - Tom Long
