Leffler is leaving community schools

Susan Leffler, director of Lynnfield Community Schools, is retiring March 30 after 24 years on the job. Her assistant, Michaelann Herook, is serving as interim director until a full-time replacement is selected. Herook is among the candidates for the job. Lynnfield Community Schools is a nonprofit organization that works with the local district to provide a range of programs and services for town residents, including extended day, adult education, and summer activities. - David Rattigan
