The ValleyWorks Career Center and Northern Essex Community College are inviting local employers to a free Workforce Training Fund informational session from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. April 11 at the college’s Riverwalk campus, 360 Merrimack St. The session will focus on the recently updated state grant opportunities available through the fund, and on the new guidelines for its general, express, and hiring incentive grants. The program is designed to enable Massachusetts businesses to provide training and development opportunities for employees. The session will help companies determine which grants are most appropriate and available for their employees.
