Sealing the deal with Taymore

The School Committee is expected to go into executive session to continue contract negotiations with Cyndy Taymore, who was selected as the district’s new superintendent, during its 7 p.m. meeting Tuesday in City Hall. Taymore was named to succeed Joe Casey, who is retiring in June. The board had set a salary range of $140,000 to $190,000 for the position. If Taymore and the school board agree on a contract, she would likely start her new job on July 1.
