My columns about headlight glare this winter produced more angst than anything else I’ve covered in the past six years. Go figure. Some readers were relieved to know they’re not alone in their hatred of increasingly bright lights. Others clamored for information about pitted windshields, fog lights, and prescription antiglare glasses. One reader scoffed at the notion that blue-tinged headlights aren’t harsher on the eyes than white ones at night.
