Essex voters pass two exclusions to Proposition 2½ - North

Following an historic town meeting that included a vote to sell some properties on Conomo Point, the town addressed other immediate needs with two projects supported first at town meeting and then at the ballot box. The town will spend $600,000 for town hall and library repairs, and $190,000 for a new aerial ladder truck for the Fire Department.
