Residents have another chance to provide input into potential transportation improvements within the North River Canal corridor area. A consultant, Fay, Spofford & Thorndike, is conducting a study for the city into the transportation impacts that would result from the redevelopment of some key sites along the corridor and possible transportation improvements that could be undertaken. The Planning Board has been holding public meetings to seek suggestions from the community. The third and final meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the third-floor conference room of the City Hall Annex, 120 Washington St. The meeting will include a presentation of final recommendations for improvements, along with costs estimates, and will offer an opportunity for discussion.
