“Celebrating the Arts” is a three-gallery exhibition at the Lynn Arts building that features work by kindergarten through 12th-grade students from all 24 of Lynn’s public schools. The exhibit, which will run through June 8, includes painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, digital art, folk art, and crafts. Lynn Arts is a nonprofit that leases space to arts-oriented businesses in its converted bank building in Central Square. The organization last Tuesday was set to hold an event celebrating the exhibit, as well as the recent completion of a mosaic mural that is now installed in the building’s lobby. The mural was created by Lynn secondary school students in collaboration with Lynn Arts resident artists David Fitcher, Yetti Frankel, and Joshua Winer.
