The city’s sixth annual March for Peace is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Sponsored by the VIP Team at Haverhill High School, the event celebrates a stronger, safer Haverhill. The event will kick off with a march from the Wendy’s restaurant at 39 South Main St. to the Grand Army Park on Bailey Boulevard. The VIP (for Violence Intervention and Prevention) Team engages in community service projects aimed at empowering young people to make good decisions. The march will be followed by festivities at GAR park, including face painting, games, music, food, and entertainment.
