New Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District superintendent Mike Harvey will officially begin his tenure July 1. The Ipswich resident and principal of Belmont High School recently signed a three-year contract, with a first-year salary of $165,000. Harvey succeeds Raleigh Buchanan, who resigned last spring after one year on the job. Peter Gray, the assistant superintendent of finance and administration, has been serving as interim superintendent.
