Water and sewer costs are set to rise in the new fiscal year that starts July 1. The Board of Aldermen on Monday will hold a public hearing on a proposed new rate structure. A 2.7 percent increase in sewer rates is proposed. The hearing will be held as part of the board’s regular meeting at 7:45 p.m. in the aldermen’s chamber at City Hall.
