Richard Simmons Jr., a former longtime member of the Board of Assessors, recently became the town’s assessing manager, a full-time position working with the board. Simmons will replace Frank Kulik, who has been working in the position on a part-time, interim basis since last year. Kulik, who is retired as the assessor in Salem, will stay for a brief transitional period.
