The city recently launched a second year of its “Go Fast, Get Fined” program. The Police Department initiative combines enhanced traffic enforcement in targeted areas and an extensive public awareness program to reduce the number of motorists speeding on Salem roadways during the summer and fall. As part of the program, the mayor’s office has begun distributing yard signs for residents to display.
