The Wright-Locke Farm is celebrating the summer solstice a tad late with summer cocktails in the 1827 barn Friday. (The actual solstice, the longest day of the year hereabouts, is Wednesday.) The solstice party will feature local musicians Jake Armerding and Annie Bartlett playing “newgrass” fiddle music. Festivities will begin at 7 p.m. at 78 Ridge St. The three-hour event is being supported by The Winchester Neighbors Club with in-kind contributions from Cape Ann Brewery and Winchester Wine and Spirits. Tickets are $75 per person. Proceeds will benefit the community farm’s operations and new educational programs. To learn more about the farm, or to register for the solstice party, visit wlfarm.org.
