The town will hold its annual Independence Day celebration on the Town Common beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Activities will include a parade for children who wish to decorate their bikes or build a float. Trophies will be presented for best in show, most patriotic, and the judge's prize. The parade assembles at the VFW parking lot at 8 a.m. and ends at the common. Free food, drinks, music, races, and prizes will continue from 9 a.m. until noon.
