At its meeting Tuesday, the Planning Board will open a public hearing into a proposed multifamily development next to the Danvers River. The applicant, Danvers Riverview LLC, seeks approval of a site plan and a special permit to construct 11 housing units at 56-58 River St. The property was formerly the site of the Riverview Marina, according to Kate Day, the town’s senior planner. Day said a distinctive feature of the project is that there will be a deeded dock space for each unit. She said the project also calls for community access to the water at that location through the construction of a walking path along the riverfront. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Daniel J. Toomey Hearing Room at Town Hall.
