The city has issued a request for proposals for the management of Mount Hood Memorial Park and Golf Course. The firm selected would be in charge of the 300-acre park, 18-hole golf course, cart rentals, food and beverage operations, and facilities maintenance. Mount Hood is managed by Golf Management LLC, a private firm that also manages six courses in New Hampshire. Copies of the request for proposals at available at the Park Commission office, located at Mount Hood, 100 Slayton Road. The deadline to submit proposals is July 20. The contract is scheduled to be awarded on Aug. 22.
