Town manager Richard C. Howard has announced a revised work week for Town Hall and related administrative offices. The new schedule takes effect Monday. The summer hours are: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday; and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday. There will be no change in the transfer station hours or for the police, fire, public works, or library. “This change is intended to provide more convenient access for the public and Winchester residents to Town Hall offices and also reflects the slowdown in activity that occurs on Friday afternoons, especially during the summer months,” Howard said in a written statement.
