Parents hoping to send their children to the Academy for Science and Design this fall are getting a second chance. The charter school will be holding a second lottery July 18 to fill 23 open slots at the school of engineering, mathematics, and science after a number of students decided not to attend in the fall, when the school moves from Merrimack to Nashua. About 285 students in grades 6-12 are currently enrolled. Applications must be submitted by July 12. For information, go to the admissions link at www.asdnh.org.
