Organizers of the annual Summer Concert Series on the town common have released the schedule of bands. The annual family event is scheduled for Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m., with Thursdays the rain date. Launching this year’s series next week is Evolution, a rock band featuring Lynnfield High alumni, followed by the Brian Maes Band (July 18), which plays popular rock; the Squeezebox Stompers (July 25), playing a blend of Cajun, zydeco, and blues; and ’60s Invasion (Aug. 1), which plays vintage hits. All concerts are free, but donations are welcome. The series is presented by the Lynnfield Public Library, with several local sponsors.
