The Planning Board at its July 19 meeting will continue a public hearing into the proposed expansion of Beacon Village, the 420-unit multifamily housing complex off Beacon Street. First Patriot Corp., which owns Beacon Village, is applying through the legal entity Peach Orchard Place, LLC for a special permit to develop 60 additional apartments and one single-family home on another part of the site. It also seeks approval under subdivision rules to construct a new road providing access from Peach Orchard Road to the proposed new development area. Meanwhile, the board recently approved a request by Bobby’s Burger Palace to allow the chain to open a restaurant at 75 Middlesex Turnpike in the Burlington Mall. The chain, which is owned by celebrity chef Bobby Flay, plans to move into the mall space formerly occupied by Eddie Bauer.
