Garrett Brown and Barbara Broudo have been named to the Beverly Cultural Council. Brown is a singer/songwriter and works at the Atomic Café; Broudo is the director of archives and museum at Endicott College. Also, Bea Modisett and Gail Eaton have been named cochairs of the council. The council is now accepting 2013 grant applications from organizations, schools, and individuals. The deadline is Oct. 15.
