By mid-December, three wind turbines are expected to be constructed and operating at Blackburn Industrial Park. A semiconductor company began work on transporting sections of a 2.5-megawatt wind turbine last week, which is scheduled to be erected within weeks. The other two turbines will be constructed in the next two months on the site of Gloucester Engineering and will provide enough electricity to power the city’s muncipal buildings.
