Some veterans find a way to be their own boss
Some veterans are starting their own businesses. At L & I Army Navy Store in Lowell, Glenn Morales, a Marine veteran of Iraq, engraves stainless steel dog tags on a graphotype machine used in World War II. The tags are the biggest seller at the shop he opened three years ago. In Chelmsford, Army veterans Sal Amato and Scot Finn started Medsav Solutions, a medical products company, after they returned from yearlong deployments to Afghanistan.
