Beverly, Salem, and Somerville are preparing to implement a tax-raising preservation tool after voters in the three cities adopted the measure last week. By a 3-1 ratio, Somerville voters at the Nov. 6 state election approved the city’s acceptance of the Community Preservation Act. CPA proposals also passed in the other two cities, though by tighter margins.
