Volunteers and donations are needed for a community winter clothing drive Monday through Friday this week to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey. Donations may be dropped off at the Gloucester High School field house each day between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and from 6 to 9 p.m. The drive is primarily seeking winter clothing, clean and in good condition, for men, women, and children, as well as blankets, diapers and baby wipes, cloth towels, first-aid kits, work gloves, flashlights, batteries, sleeping bags and pads, and heavy (contractor-type) garbage bags. Hiltz Moving and Storage will truck all donations to hurricane victims for free. For more information or donation suggestions, contact Jackie Hardy at JackieAHardy@verizon.net.
