Andover’s annual midyear review, cosponsored by the Andover Board of Selectmen and the League of Women Voters of Andover/North Andover, was held last month in the Memorial Hall Library. This year’s program included presentations on the Economic Development Council and the town yard relocation project. The nine-member council was formed this year to develop a strategy for improving local business retention and job creation. The council is working on a long-range vision for the town center and is encouraging an attractive mixed-use plan for redevelopment of the town yard, a project that it is estimated could generate about $560,000 in annual tax revenue.
