Jeanne Craigie inducted into New Agenda: Northeast Women’s Hall of Fame

Local resident Jeanne Craigie has been inducted into the New Agenda: Northeast Women’s Hall of Fame. In all, 10 women were inducted this year, bringing the total number of women honored since the New Agenda: Northeast Women’s Hall of Fame’s creation in 1988 to 399. Craigie, a former runner who went on to become the first female trainer at Northeastern University’s Boston Bouve College after a knee injury curtailed her athletic career, was honored for her efforts to support and promote girls and women in sport. Founded in 1986, New Agenda: Northeast promotes the same goal.
