The Planning Board at its meeting Thursday will continue public hearings on applications by Peach Orchard Place LLC for a special permit and site plan approval to construct 60 additional apartments and a single-family home at Beacon Village, off Beacon Street. The board on Nov. 15 approved a subdivision plan for a road that would serve the new development. Also Thursday, the board will resume a hearing into a proposed 38,000-square-foot mixed-use development at 90 Middlesex Turnpike. The focus of the hearing session will be traffic mitigation work along Middlesex Turnpike. The board will open a hearing into two applications for the 1, 3, and 5 Center St. building that houses Ristorante Villafranca and a pizzeria operated by the same business, including a fast-food pizza shop. One of the applications is a special permit request from Orange Leaf to open one of its frozen yogurt shops in the section of the building that houses the restaurant. The other is from Haan Kaya Inc. for approval of a change of ownership that would allow it to take over operation of the pizza shop.
