The Anna Jaques Hospital Aid Association is scheduled to hold its holiday happenings craft fair from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Higgins conference room at the hospital, 25 Highland Ave. The employee craft show will feature a dozen artisans selling a variety of handcrafted items, from fine arts and crafts to jewelry, knitted items, handmade table runners and placemats, paintings, and seasonal items. The mission of the aid association, now in its 125th year, is to enhance the care that Anna Jaques Hospital patients receive by helping to purchase special medical equipment. Last year, the association presented $82,025 to the hospital, the organization’s largest annual gift to date.
