Nazarian leaves DPW post

A member of the town's Department of Public Works team has moved on. Nina Nazarian resigned her position as project manager in the Engineering Division effective this past Friday to accept appointment as assistant town administrator in Tyngsborough. The Tyngsborough Board of Selectmen appointed her Nov. 13 on the recommendation of Town Administrator Michael P. Gilleberto. Prior to starting her Tewksbury position in 2008, Nazarian had seved as an assistant civil engineer for the Melrose Department of Public Works in 2007-2008. The Lowell resident said she was excited about the new job opportunity, but called her decision to leave “bittersweet.” “I've really grown a lot here in Tewksbury and really enjoyed my time here. I've worked with a lot of professionals and there's just a wonderful staff here,” she said.
