A new Urgent Care Center at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford has exceeded expectations since opening last month. On average, 34 adults and children visit the walk-in clinic. The largest one-day total was 48 patients, said Jesse Kawa, a spokesman for Hallmark Health, the nonprofit that owns Lawrence Memorial. No appointments are required for patients, who are treated by emergency medical staff. The center, Kawa said, is seeing “high volume, low wait times, and high satisfaction from patients.”
