The Nashua School District has been named a finalist for a federal Race to the Top grant. The district has requested $26.7 million to improve the schools’ use of technology and create opportunities to explore career paths and higher education. The US Department of Education has named the district one of 61 finalists for about $400 million in funds that will be distributed to between 15 and 25 applicants.
