Timothy J. Gordon to step in as town’s new CFO

Town Manager Jim McKenna recently tapped Timothy J. Gordon to fill the vacant position of chief financial officer, effective Jan. 3. Gordon since 2003 has been an associate director for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s auditing division. He previously worked from 1997 to 2003 as manager of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Higher Education Advisory Services. Prior to that, he served for five years as an audit supervisor in the state auditor’s office, and three years as a legislative aide in the Massachusetts House. Gordon is also chairman of the Board of Selectmen in Holbrook and a lieutenant colonel in the Air National Guard.
